From Paris to Limoux!
After being born and raised in Limoux, in a 5 generation winemakers family, in the South of France, Françoise decided to pursue her higher education in Paris. With her business degree in hand, she was hired by L’Oréal, where she combined her passion for “French-style” know-how with her taste for international affairs.
Although she was passionate about Parisian life in a large company, after about ten years she felt an increasingly strong desire to return to her roots, decided to join Georges (her father) and Roger (her uncle) in 1995 to put her energy and enthusiasm to work on a project that was dear to her.

Françoise’s approach in 3 words :
Learning
With a deep respect for the generations that preceded her, Françoise spent her early years discovering, listening and above all learning from Georges and Roger for whom she had boundless admiration.
Without them, nothing would have been possible!
Leading
With many vintages in which she was able to understand her history and her Terroir, Françoise has affirmed her ambitions since the beginning of the 2000s, laying the foundations for sustainable viticulture and ambitious winemaking to finally recognize the potential of Limoux sparkling wines.
Sharing
Her son Baptiste having joined the family project in 2020, she has worked since his arrival to pass on to him her know-how, her vision but above all her positive energy.
With so many challenges, it’s a real blessing to have several family members on board.
A constant quest for excellence
Gradually, Françoise has been able to evolve the style of her wines, always seeking more freshness and precision. Long aging on lees allows her to magnify minimalist but very demanding cellar work.

In love with her Terroir
Even if Limoux is not (yet!) the most renowned wine region, Françoise has always been one of the most fervent ambassadors of this unique place to produce fantastic sparkling wines.
Her terroir-driven Blanquette and Crémant are a true illustration of this wonderful land, where the freshness of the Pyrenees blends with the richness of a Mediterranean climate.
Limoux, the birthplace of bubbles (1544!)
Less than a kilometer from Françoise’s vineyard, adventurous monks created the world’s first sparkling wine in the the Abbey of Saint-Hilaire in 1544.
This unique experience quickly became a local tradition, imitated today all over the world … But it was in Limoux that it all began!

Committed to others
Beyond her company, Françoise has also always been committed to supporting NGO’s and cultural events (like the Limoux Brass Festival for example).
She even co-founded the Vinifilles association, which promotes gender equality and inclusivity in the wine industry.
